Default Even Alpine Village doesn't have a German-American neighborhood

Everyone knows Alpine Village is the Asian Swing Dancers' turf - no real German would venture to within a 5 mile radius of the place unless they were in the company of one of the ASDs lest they be elbowed off the dance floor during an oompapa song.

There never has been one at any time in L.A.'s history. There are some white ethnic neighborhoods that no longer exist (Pico Union was once Greek, Lincoln Heights was once Italian, Boyle Heights once had a big Jewish population) but there's never been a German area.

Thank-you, for the laugh!!!!!
