It appears the worst of the fires are now in Orange county from Corona to Anaheim Hills. Looks devastating on TV

Obviously, the South Bay is no where near the major fires. But, just within the past 15 mins, it's begun to turn orange over the coast as the smoke drifts to the west from the Chino/Anaheim Hills conflagration. I wish those affected, all of the best. Be safe.

Topanga Canyon is safe. There are no fires in that area right now.

500 mobile homes burned to the ground in Sylmar. I feel so bad for those families, many of whom I'm sure are living on fixed incomes. What an awful day for hundreds of people all over So-Cal who are affected.

My goodness, I just saw the headline on CNN. My prayers go out to all Californians affected by fire or the threat of it.

I don't have a lot of money, but I'm going to donate to the local Red Cross. At least it's something tangible I can do to help.

The smoke has finally reached by area [probably from the Corona\Brea fire] & I imagine much of LA will be smoky for several days. I hate the smoke & having to close up the house. What a mess!

Ditto SandyCo. I am amazed at the amount of ash that's falling at my house, some 35-miles away from any fire.
