Right. I also live in the foothills & fire is a major concern during 'santa ana' wind events. Thankfully the wind normally doesn't blow as strong here as it does in other regions of the LA area.

If the wind doesn't start up like it did last night maybe the fire department can get a handle on these horrible fires.

Uh huh... Because everyone knows that every time there's a firestorm in So-Cal, a giant earthquake follows. I only wish So-Cal had fires so infrequently.

This is the third smoky episode in SFV this year: #1 - Univeral Studio fire #2 big fire in Northern SFV a few months ago, #3 today
