Cool Off-beat (or otherwise) Christmas Shopping ideas?

Just got back from Chinatown (The SHOP to be precise), where I was able to find some interesting Christmas presents for my three nieces (15, 23, 26 years-old). Found some 1/2 priced perfume in a gift set. Not as big a selection as the Fashion District but they had what we needed. Also got some nice shirts (2 for $30). Then we walked over to Olvera Street for more. Some of these stores have really nice stuff, especially the two just shy of Cesar Chavez/Sunset.

I ended up here because the ipod, computer game gig had run its course, not to mention depleted my wallet, so the indoor/outdoor C-town malls and Olvera filled in the gaps. I took some pics as well for my forum album. Once we bought all we could carry back to the train, we were done.

Also, if you find you must visit a higher-end department store, the Macy's at at 7th and Fig is great: few crowds, easy parking and no hassle.

Anyone else have a favorite/easy on the pocketbook place they shop for the holidays? I still have a couple of people to buy for and could use a tip or two. Thanks.
