Smile Relocating
Might be relocating to Pasadena with my family during sometime within next 3 months. Have 2 kids 10 yr old (in 5th grade) and 7 yr old (in 2nd grade).

Looking to rent house or condo for 1st few years.


Can anyone provide me with information concerning good areas to live for families , good schools, decent housing prices within 50 miles of Pasadena,

South Pasadena sounds good if it's in your budget. Very nice and family friendly as well.

What is your annual income and/or expectation of rental prices? That will be the single-most important determinant of location. South Pasadena is amongst the most expensive in the LA area.
