need help for saturday's move to my new apt in s. monica...basically just my queen sized bed. know anyone who will do it for cheap?

craigslist has many independent hispanic work for cheap....look in there. They advertise as "will move anything"....or "2 brothers moving anything for $50"...stuff like that.

that is terrible. I rented a uhaul a couple of years ago and there was no mileage charge, i just had to leave it with as much gas as i got it with. but if you're not moving too far, it shouldn't cost too much. heck, since you're moving to santa monica though, you can't be too poor, i'm sure you can afford it. plus, your bed isn't going to move itself.

Wing it and tie it to the top of your car and Know the pad you lay on hasn't been transported in a dirty van for hire that hauls anything from dirt, asbestos contaminated rubble, dog, cat, etc. old refrigerators with 20 years of grime.
Wrap it in plastic, then tape it with duct tape if you like to keep it clean.
You should be able to move a queen sized mattress on your own.

home depot and lowes rent pickup trucks for a timeperiod rather than mileage. something like 19.99 the first 90 minutes and then the same rate for each hour after that. first come first serve
