Why are the hoods so hardcore in LA? When I look at videos of Compton Crips on youtube;
YouTube - Compton Crips Pt.1 it looks worse than anything I've seen in Florida. You'd think the heat and humidity would make them angrier here. If it's a race thing, we have plenty of blacks and hispanics here. Yet I don't hear of any gangs here, not even in Miami. Maybe the opressive heat here kills their motivation to gangbang (let alone work).

Los Angeles is home to the bloods and crips...there are a lot of copy cat gangs in other states that have tried to be bloods/crips, but arent real. However there are some bloods and crips in other states that are legit but also a lot that i have trouble buying as real. Now there are other gangs in other states, but bloods/crips is primarily a socal thing. You are right now its more racial with the ese's and the blacks going at it hard, again that too is more of a cali thing. Different rumors on how it all started. But in the cali pen its very well known that the blacks and la eme go at it hard.

Im really not sure of what your point is...but if you mean compton looks bad as in ghetto, its simply not true...there is a lot of compton that actually looks nice and suburbia...

I guess I should be thankful my city doesn't have any violence. But sometimes I wish there was some action here, any kind of action, a little graffiti, something. Makes me want to grab a can of spray paint and start tagging areas myself. I would tag the the family parks of St. Petersburg first.The same parks I sit in in solitude, just wishing I was inside one of those milfs.

Why the hell you want any life of gangs? And I guarantee their are some gangs in FL. Any someone big city has them, atleast have projects. I know St Petersburg/Tampa do, and Miami has plenty of hispanic gang culture.

Gang members are insecure people. It's like those who attend church on a regular basis. There's very little individual thought within each group. Each group executes certain acts established by the codes and guidelines of their institution. Supposedly, those acts will grant them favor, be it with their gang leader or preacher. It makes them part of the "in crowd" and thus they feel part of something bigger than the mundaneness of everyday life.

Actually, when I first moved here from Houston, where the ghettos are VERY easy to spot, I had a very hard time figuring out what was the "ghetto" and what wasn't. Alot of parts of the valley look very nice (yes the home are older and run-down but all of L.A. looked like that to me when I first came here). I would see nice brightly colored pink and tan homes with palm trees swaying in the breeze and beautiful sunset and backdrop of mountains.. and think.. how can THIS be the ghetto?

I can tell more easily now but I still think our ghettos, at least some of them, are pretty nice looking!
