Cheap Massages
Hi all,
Anyone know where one could get a cheap massage in L.A. or surrounding cities?
Thanks!

LOL! No! I heard a few people talking about where they get really cheap foot and body massages for like $30 or less but I didn't get an opportunity to get the specifics.

I've used "Just Massage Studio" on occassion. Their 1-hr Swedish massage is $40 and always pleasurable . . . though not in the sense that BRinSM references. There are a bunch in the South Bay and one in Culver City. Don't know other locations.

The Thai places are legit and run around $40/hour. There is a good one on Glendale Blvd ( Pho Siam Thai Spa 1525 Pizarro St., Los Angeles, CA 90026 Tel: (213)484-8484). I found that Thai joints beat you up a bit, but they really know how to locate the problem spots and rub 'em out. There was one at 755 N Virgil that ran about $30, plus a tip. That's a good deal. I recall seeing some places in Alhambra or Monterey Park that offer $20 foot massages. Koreatown is crawling with day spas and massage joints, many offer deals. I prefer the places with showers.

The Thai places are the best bet. they advertise on craigslist in the therapeutic section. under $30 is very unlikly but you can find $40-45. you can also try healing hands on larchmont.
