I just saw a guy with this get up in Trader Joes...grossssssss...lol He had Black knee socks on open toe sandals and a pair of baggy shorts below his knee and a wife beater on with a cowboy hat... I was like lets hope that he is doing the wash tonight...lol

When I am bored and have some time, I visit a Wal-Mart in a ghetto-ish neighborhood to cheer myself up.
I was in Phoenix for couple of years and their Wal-Marts have a much better variety of 'circus freak' types, even a few of their own employees made me go OMFG.

TJs in Long Beach usually have college kids, snooty looking middle aged people and occasional cougars.

I wear longer black socks when I wear shorts. However, I ALWAYS wear longer black socks. I can't stand white socks. I haven't worn a pair of white socks in about 5 years. My socks go a bit higher than mid calf. I wear them high with my slip on vans. My "style" would fit into the "surfer" look more than skater or maybe a mix of both.
