The 210 east closure near Azusa (Irwindale: commute, park, area)

Has anyone else been affected by the 210 east closure around the Azusa/Irwindale area? They closed the east bound area about 6am this morning and do not expect it to re-open until 5pm at the earliest. My friend is currently on the streets (Foothill Blvd) and said it has taken her 1.5 hours to go 1/4 of a mile.

Talk about a crappy afternoon commute. I told her to park and walk home, she'd probably get their a lot quicker.

i think i know what i would do if it was me in that situations: pull over, grab gun out of glove box ... i think you know the rest.

They just opened part of the 210 east, but my friend is still only 3/4 mile and 2 hours in. She said everyone is honking, tons of overheating cars, a few wrecks and lots of yelling. And this is on the streets lol
