Future "quality of life" in Los Angeles
In 10 years, will the quality of life in Greater Los Angeles be better, worse, or about the same?
Quality of life indicators include: - Political and social environment (political stability, crime, law enforcement, etc)
- Economic environment (quality of jobs, etc)
- Socio-cultural environment (limitations on personal freedom, etc)
- Health and sanitation (medical supplies and services, infectious diseases, sewage, waste disposal, air pollution, etc)
- Schools and education (educational attainment, high-school drop-out levels, quality of universities, etc)
- Public services and transportation (electricity, water, public transportation, traffic congestion, etc)
- Recreation (restaurants, theatres, cinemas, sports and leisure, etc)
- Consumer goods (availability of food/daily consumption items, cars, etc)
- Housing (costs, quality of construction, etc)
- Natural environment (parkland, etc)
