Default Two Lithuanian students are looking for a summer job in CA. Any help?

Hi,

I'm a Lithuanian student from Lithuania. Me and me freind decided to visit the US this summer and we ar now trying to find jobs. After consulting some friends who have already been in the US we decided that California ccould be the place Maybe you could provide us with some advices wher and how we should look for a job? thank you

I don't want to rain on your parade, so to speak, but the economic outlook in California is not a pleasant one (as in many other parts of the world)....

Unemployment in Los Angeles is now 10% and rising. Most people who have employment are very thankful to have a job - there are many layoffs looming on the horizon. Instead of us getting a refund of the tax dollars we over-paid to the State of California, we will now be getting IOUs. Banks are in trouble. Gas is high as is housing.

I don't know...if I were you, I'd probably look to another state and possibly visit CA on a very short-term basis.

Sorry for the bleak response.....
