Default Commute from Ontario to Glendale

So, I've lived in Ontario (north end, almost in Upland) for about 2 years, and I've been telecommuting for work - when I had to go into the office, it was late enough that I missed rush hour.

However, this summer I will be needing to go into the office on a daily basis, and moving is not an option right now. But I still do not have native intuition in regards to rush hour times on the different freeways, given that I have avoided going on any of them except midday or late at night.

I need to know when is a good time to leave the house. I have three routes I could go - 210 west until the 134 west....10 west, then take the 605 N to 210 to 134...OR 10 west to 5 North and then 134 east.

I'm thinking the first option is the best, but what I really need to know are times - would leaving at 6am not be early enough? I don't mind it if I have a lot of slowdown on the tail-end of my commute - for example, I do not expect to have a fun time once I'm past the 605 - but what I'm looking to do is minimalize the damages.

Thanks.
