See if the hotel has an airport shuttle. If not, there's independent airport shuttle vans that will take you anywhere. The two I can think of off the top of my head are Super Shuttle and Prime Time Shuttle.

If there are no shuttles, maybe have to rent a minivan (six adults and luggage may still be too much) on two one way trips. LAX is a hassle though as all the rental car places are offsite. And you'd have to find a rental car place near Long Beach Hyatt.

Take the shuttle, like EscapeCalifornia recommends.

I used Super Shuttle for my last flight. It was $50 R/T, which is just about what parking at LAX would have cost me -- and I didn't have to fight traffic. The ride home was a bit hair-raising, though, with a lead-footed driver who apparently doesn't believe in red lights .....

That said, however, I plan to use them for my next trip as well.

When you exit LAX Airport, there are shuttles that go everywhere and of course taxis. (Look for signs. Taxis are on inside curb closest to airport, and shuttles on outer curb.) There are airport people at the curbs for both. Let them know where you are going. They will tell you what shuttle to take. If there were less of you than 6, you could probably catch a taxi for less money. Check search engines online for airport transportation, costs, advise, etc.

My boss found with multible stops and pick ups it was cheaper to hire a limo.

From LAX to where? That's $25 one way. Must have been a lot closer than LAX to Long Beach.

You're right -- that's quite true, and it was just me (along with the other riders). For a group of seven, it would much more expensive.

Default Limo Service?

Thanks for all the helpful info./advice. I'm checking into both Shuttle/Limo service. Can someone recommend a good/reliable Limo service/company?
Again, thank-you!
