So I was surprised to find that my regular polling place is 2.4 miles from where I live and much further away from where my regular polling place is located.

Has anyone else found their polling place to be as inconvenient or out of the way?

I believe this is a dirty trick to keep people away from the polls, deliberately putting the polls in an inconvenient location.

Anyone else?

This is not at all unusual for elections that are expecting such a low turnout. Since there is supposed to be such low turnout for this one, they use regular polling places that are more centrally located and can accommodate the numbers. It's sometimes inconvenient, but they have to put the boundary someplace.

I understand that they are not expecting a large turnout, however, the spot I'm supposed to vote in is way out of the way.

I have voted in 5 different places over the past few years and this one is by far the most out of the way location.

Also, keep in mind that many polling places are run by volunteers, so if no one in a particular area volunteers, the further out you will have to go.
