How easy it to meet single, quality people in L.A.? And, where do people go to meet others of the opposite sex? Online dating popular? I'm a female professional in my early thirties.

Dating in Los Angeles is just like dating in any other city. You go out have fun and hope you meet somebody. There are plenty of single people in their 30's in Los Angeles. It's not Salt Lake City LOL!

I wonder how many married couples met each other by deliberately going out to meet other people versus meeting by chance (work, friend of a friend, City-Data forum, etc.)

so personally, I think Westwood Village / UCLA has the hottest girls (hm, dunno about guys). I'm in my mid 20s. SHerman Oaks has rich peeps in it, mostly in their 30s. Burbank isn't too bad either.

I guess it just comes down to you doing what you like doing. =P

Its very easy. That is if you're attractive and most importantly if you're physically (body/health/fitness) in good shape. Its very easy to meet someone if you're attractive. You can meet people in line at Trader Joes, in Starbucks, a bookstore, at the gym, grocery store, driving in the car next to you, etc. A bit more difficult if you're not so attractive.

You just have to be OPEN. A lot of women close themselves off to other people mistakenly thinking its a "safety issue" when more often than not it isnt. You dont want to shrink your universe, because the not-so-attractive guy at the bookstore who starts up a conversation with you, may just be a nice guy who KNOWS a guy that he could possibly set you up with. Just be open and receptive to meeting new people and making friends and you'll be fine.
