I have bought my house in Northridge which is half a mile from Cal State University Nothridge. It is a single family, 4bedroom/2bath house with a large living room, dinning area, small office or storage room, 2car detach garage, swimming pool and huge yard. The house is a corner house and is close to groceries stores and restuarents. One bathroom is remodeled and another is retouched. Freshly painted, newly carpeted. How much should I rent it for? I appreciate your feedback.

You should rent it for $100 a month. If you want I will pay for the entire year up front. LOL

Have you checked on local rents in the area for comparable homes? In North Oxnard in a desirable location you could rent it for between $2,500 and $3,000 a month. That being said, rents have declined this year because many have found it cheaper to buy then to rent. I would contact the property management companies in the area and see what the homes they are renting out go for. Many of them will have a list of available homes that may be near your home. That way you could be in the same ball park as homes in Northridge.

Thank you for your reply. I checked Craigslist and the rent seems to be around 1200-1400 hundred for 2-3 bedrooms. I will check other sites as well and if you or anyone knows what are the other resources I can use, I would like to know that.

Thanks again.
