Is there any other forums for West Hollywood area?
Hey,
I'm 23 and looking to move to West hollywood at the end of the summer coming from the UK.
I was wondering if there are any forums or chat boards for people my age, so I can make some friends, meet some new people. I'm Iranian, so would like to get to know some Iranians in the area before I leave.
Not that its the only thing that matters, lol.
Just looking for some non serous forums to meet some friends and get as much info on life in West Hollywood before I come

I thought Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran, said there were no gays in Iran. 
You do realize West Hollywood has a reputation, right? I don't think anyone who believes a whole country is devoid of homosexuals will feel very welcome in West Hollywood. I'm just sayin'. |

I'm not gay and didnt realise west hollywood had a gay reputation. Its not that big of a place.
So where would a single straight guy wanted to live near hollywood live. I want to live in hollywood because, the martial arts gyms I want to go to are right next to there. I want to be a professional fighter and carry on from what I know from here.
The gyms are located in:
Wild Card Boxing Club
1123 Vine Street
Hollywood, CA 90038
1626 N. La Brea Ave.
Hollywood, Ca 90028
they seem to be close to west hollywood, 2miles.
and west hollywood seems to be safe and have a great night life and closer to the iranian community in LA.

WeHo is the NEXUS of gay culture in SoCal.
If you're one of those self-righteous, religious zealot types who are gonna ***** and whine about everything (and impose your creed on people), I'd suggest a different neighborhood, as the "nightlife" in WeHo is, uh...very homosexual-oriented, to say the least.
BTW, the Iranian community here is mainly Sephardi Jew.

West LA is really the heart of the Persian community. Hollywood is actually very safe. You could literally walk to your gyms from there. Why take a limited apartment living space from a deserving gay man who just wants to live among his ppl? Hetro ppl can live just about anywhere in comfort. Let gays have our own land that we can call our own. If only we could expel those rude russians.

Those former soviet types along Sta.Monica between Fairfax and La Brea are smug, rude, aloof, arrogant, chauvinistic, etc etc..any less than desirable term and they probably fit the bill. They can go, so can their filthy, suspicious "markets" and "pharmacies" .

Lol, I'm not self righteous and I'm not religous at all.
Cant a straight man live there or soemthing 
I'm having a different picture in my head now. I don't mind or care about gay people at all, there just people like everyone else. As long as there are single girls there too, and clubs for everyone I'm happy.
I just want somewhere, next to my gyms, places where I can meet new people iranian and not iranian and have a lively nightlife everynight and a good place for single STRAIGHT men.
I'm from the UK and half english myself and never been to Iran, but love the food and I like Iranian women and in UK you don't bump into many Iranians, I'm hoping for that in Hollywood.
So if West Hollywood isn't meant for me, where else would you guys recommend.
and back to the original question, any forums for making some new friends over there, Iranian or not.

Persians? There's 600,000 Persians here..below are a few Persian nabes:
West LA; Westwood, Sawtelle, Pico-Robertson, South Robertson, Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Encino, Tarzana, Sherman Oaks and Woodland Hills.
