which your beach??
which beach you use to go in those hot summer days if you are not one of those few angelinos or southerncalis living by the sea?
I start myself, I frequent Topanga Beach those days I dont wanna drive miles, but also drive north sometimes and go to Carpinteria in Santa Barbara County and Toro Canyon, charming cities, 90 minutes from Los Angeles Westside.
And you?

My parents live near Morro Bay, you can't get better clam chowder.
My favorite beachs are Van Damn and Jughandle up in Mendocino.

Mendocino is very good, anyway I talk about beaches in and around Los Angeles or Southern California.

I used to go to Huntington state before they banned alcohol on the beach. Laguna is nice for scuba, Catalina is better. Now days I like to just drive PCH, never stop anymore.

I would probably prefer the beach on the west side of the 17th, since the beach faces south.

Even tho I'm walking distance to the water, I don't care to hang out/sun bathe on the beaches. On those few rare occasions, I'll check into a nice hotel with a/c, pool and room service. Can't get better than that

I agree.
With a pool and spa out the back door I really do not need to lay in the sand anymore.

Usually Seal Beach on the days when I'm in a "beachy" mood.
