Best PIZZA in LA? Pleeeze!
Been here for a year from the East Coast and haven't found anything that even comes close to good pizza here. Please list some of your favs and where they are located. I've been to Dino's, Prizzi, North End, and Mr.K's....

Bravo Pizza at 5142 Hollywood blvd.
Make sure you get extra cheese. The woman, who I think owns it, comes in every morning and makes the dough for the crust. The crust is out of this world.
There's also a killer Chinese place in the same strip mall, there's a line out the door on weekends

I love D'Amores (in Encino, Sherman Oaks and Malibu-there may be more locations) and the Pizza Cookery in Encino and Woodland Hills.

I second Village Pizzeria in Larchmont (or newer location in Hollywood) if you're one of those New Yorkers who craves oversized slices with cardboard-thin crust, dripping with grease and too much tomato sauce. I wouldn't call it the "best pizza in LA," because it isn't the style of pizza that I prefer, but it is very similar to what I used to get for $1.50 a slice in Greenwich Village when I was a poor student in NYC back in the 80s.

Greenwich Village Pizzeria in West Hollywood has really good spinach pizza from my experience. They give a huge slice for a decent price too!
