NYC2CA? is on a distinguished road
Default Commute on the 1? Pacific Palisades to Downtown?

I was wondering if anyone has experience with the commute from Pacific Palisades to Downtown? How is the commute on the 1 going South in the mornings? I know going on the 10 east is a bit of a "reverse" commute in the mornings, so it's not terrible (by LA standards) -- is going south on the 1 the same?

Thanks!!

I'm guessing 30 mins to an hour and a half, depending on your exact points and what time you leave.

I live right at the 10/405 interchange and work in downtown LA. If I leave during normal rush hour times, it's 30-45 minutes, usually closer to 45. So for you I would say anywhere from 1-1.5 hours each way.

If you get on the road by 6:30 or so, you could probably do it in 30-45 minutes.
