that is $950 if utilities are included. I've looked around K-town but haven't found much. The places I did look at were total dumps. Its crazy..these same dumpy apts were going for $750-800 last year and now they are all in the $900 range.

Ideally I'd love to walk to work. But the metro would work as well(company will pay for monthly metro card). I have a car so I could even drive if I can get a good place that is a 20 min drive.

There are big advantages to getting a place within walking distance to work. One of them being I have a parking spot at work and could just leave my car there (Koreatown parking is a nightmare).

I'm looking for a studio apartment. No roommates. I repeat. Don't respond to this post telling me to get a roommate.

Sorry, but get a roommate. You literally can't afford to be picky.

Who's trolling? Your budget doesn't match your expectations.

Get two roommates imo, use the extra cash to take a nice relaxing vacation. You sound like you need one.

Exactly. $950 a month will get you nowhere, except South Central.

No one is trolling, we're being honest and truthful. Some people can't handle it.

Actually, no you're not.

You're just being ignorant about the rental market.

Just plugged $950 into hotpads.com. Okay lets see...studio apartments in the following areas: Burbank, North Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Highland Park, Encino, Reseda, Koreatown, Culver City.

Nowhere except South Central?

Nope

I'm just tired of ignorant people responding to threads when they don't know what they are talking about.

And does that include utilities? And how much of a craphole is it?

Get real and stop being so pissy.
