And I think if we're going to post the actual pics we need to keep it at a 10 pic per post level so we don't have long loading times.

So "LA City" includes downtown and those two suburbs? Just askin, never heard that term before. And Century City has a decent skyline all by itself!

Once again to the newbies. You need to say where you got the pic. But most importantly, don't repost images that we have already seen. This thread is big enough already. If it is easily found a website, the pic has most likely already been posted. If you look in someone site such as flickr or anything like that that has been recently updated, we probably have not seen those pics and please do post Moderator note: LINKS to them for everyone else to see. I can tell you right now that I have seen those two pics you posted at least 20 times, not including how many times I revisit threads with new posts. And besides, they're old as he11! LA Live isn't even in them.

Iburytheliving:
Century City and Westwood are not exactly suburbs. They're just different neighborhoods within the Los Angeles city limits. Centuy City is an office park, though, not exactly a downtown. Westwood skyline consists of mainly only Wilshire Blvd. That is the row of buildings in the foreground of the pic and the row of highrises trailing off into the distant Downtown LA skyline. There are sooo many skylines in LA. Downtown, Century City, Miracle Mile (a portion of Wilshire Blvd), Hollywood, Westwood (Wilshire), Brentwood (Westwood), Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, LAX, El Segundo, Long Beach, Burbank, Glendale, Woodland Hills, Irvine, and I'm sure I'm forgetting others.

Thanks for taking the time to explain that... Damn, now I understand the point made in the "does LA need more skyscrapers" thread where people are saying there are many many more highrises in LA than just the know downtown of LA.

A few more months and I'll be able to post some of my own pics
