Hi,

I live in California and was liad off due to lack of work. I called to file for unemployment but they could not complete the form and need to call me back.

My question I worked in AZ from 04/07-07/08 and left to start a company. It fizzled within three onths because of the economic situatuion. on 10/29/08 I started a new job but on 04/17/09 they laid off 10 people due to lack of work.

My question is eventhough the base period which benfits are determined is from 18 onths ago and that is when I worked in lived in az but the job I had was in ca when they laid me off will I qualify for ca unemployment ? I left the job ib AZ on my own but the one in ca was no fault of my own .

Thanks for any help
