Who do you support, and why?

I caught the tail end of a Kevin James segment on KRLA last night and he's supporting Trutanich. I trust Kevin's opinion on most issues, and I'm not a big fan of Weiss' disregard for the 2nd Ammendment of the U.S. Constitution, as if we don't have enough California politicians opposed to the 2nd Ammendment, so I'm leaning towards Trutanich or simply not voting at all.

I know nothing about the 2nd Amendment positions of either Weiss or Trutanich, but I have friends on the Westside who live in the council district Weiss has represented and he is deeply, deeply unpopular. One of them said that they'd only vote for Weiss if he was running against Dick Cheney. He has been a shill for big developers like Rick Caruso and for Fox and has failed to serve his constituents. 8th district anti-Weiss sentiment helped Trutanich make the runoff.

I basically know nothing more than what I've seen in the TV ads. Weiss seemed to think he had it in the bag. When reality hit, he dug deep into typical political trash. I wouldn't vote for him if I could, just based on the BS attack ads he's put out.

I heard an interview with Trutanich yesterday, and I am fairly certain I'm voting for him.
