I mean, what kind of answer are you looking for?
It's a city with very rundown areas that are a mix Latino/African African America and also some middle class mostly African American areas.
It's not really that interesting an area and most people would not choose to live there if they had other options.
If you want an interesting African American community, the Leimert Park area IMO has much more history and culture IMO.

Inglewood probably won't improve much until Mayor Roosevelt Dorn is out of office. Sadly, Dorn's daughter "Dr." Renee appears poised to continue the family business of fleecing the city.

i think generalizing an entire city as a "ghetto" is a bit ignorant.
anyways can more angelinos off their opinion?
i need all the feedback i can get because i am doing a study on the perception of Inglewood at USC.

The ghetto comment is uninformed. I was born in Inglewood and both my parents grew up and married there. There's a large section of town known as Morningside Park, individual custom homes built back in the mid-thirties. I'd live there without a second thought.

I just moved to Downtown Inglewood and I love it!
The only thing is I wish Market St could stay open in the evenings.
All the business around here close so early. Thats the only part that I dont like.
I love living in places where things stay open late and you can walk around.

I'm glad to hear it. A lot of places are showing improvement. Inglewood will once again be a prominent South Bay city, in time.
