Default How long does it take to get from Culver City to Avenue of the Stars?

Hey guys I don't know the area very well so I would appreciate the help. I will be spending the summer in LA and will be working at a company near the intersection of Santa Monica Blvd. and Avenue of the Stars. I will staying at an apartment at the intersection of Midvale Ave. and Venice Blvd. Here is a link to the directions on Google Maps:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...3,0.11158&z=14

How long do you think it will take to get to work every morning (say I have to get into the office around 9 am)? What about at night (say after 11 pm)?

Also, would you suggest taking the route outlined by Google Maps or should I take local roads (e.g. Venice Blvd --> Overland Ave --> W Pico Blvd --> Avenue of the Stars)?

10- 15 minutes, unless there is a major traffic issue, both on freeway or street.
I would shoot up Overland to Pico, then take Pico to Ave of Stars, then left to Santa Monica.
Or, you can take Venice to Motor. There are all kinds of ways to get through traffic to and from your work place, and once you are familiar with the streets you will figure it out.

After 11PM I would say under 10 minutes. Not much traffic around Santa Monica/Ave of Stars/Century City at that time and you can just zip through the street.

Good luck~

If you don't mind buses you could probably easily bus this route as well.

Olympic is usually a little congested than Pico. But Venice and Overland can be gridlock. Still, 15 minutes should do it.

What would the average bus commute time be from K-Town to the Kodak Theatre?
