Actually LA belonged to Mexico before it was stolen.
They didn't cross the border - the border crossed them.

Maybe we Gringos are the illegal ones, just a respectable thought, we did steal the land, well we forcefully took it by means of arms, without asking for it.

How far back do we need to go? Do Mexicans who talk about how 'the border crossed them' even know who the Chumash and Tongva are, for instance?

Here's a brilliant idea - let's go back to the year, oh I don't know...900, and draw our borders according to what was at that time in history. Sounds pretty stupid, doesn't it? Should we go all the way back to the time of the Roman Empire?

Man learns from history, that man learns nothing from history.

Dosen't matter it was still part of Mexico until it was won over, so my question is why would you care that there are so many Mexicans in L.A? You think when it became U.S soil all the Mexicans left? No, many stayed. LOL ignorant people.

Yeah, the Mexicans in California are all direct decedents of people whoewere here before the war. If you believe that, I'd got a bridge to sell you.
