Apartment Hotel recommendations?
I'm coming to LA in September, and need to stay in an apartment hotel (or regular hotel with a mini-kitchen) while looking for a sublet. Can anyone recommend any, with cheaper being better than expensive? I don't need luxurious accommodation, just functional. I'd be wanting it to be on the westside or central, or therabouts.
Thanks for any recommendations!

There is an Extended Stay America which is like a long term hotel with studio style rooms (little kitchen, etc...) at the intersection of Centinela and Sepulveda just off the 405 on the westside of Los Angeles. They aren't super fancy and I'm not sure how this one is.

Magic Castle Hotel in Hollywood (well near it):
Hollywood Hotels * Hollywood Hills Hotel * Los Angeles Hotels * Hollywood CA Hotels * Magic Castle Hotel
I stayed here just last week (June 20-26). Great hotel. You get:
Free Internet
24-Hour Pool (heated)
Free DVD movies
Free Breakfast
Free snacks 24/7
And when I mean free snacks, I mean free drinks (Coke, 7Up, Dr. Pepper, etc.), candy (M&Ms, Snickers, Butterfingers, etc.), and general snacks (chips, etc.).
And we absolutely loved the staff. They are so nice.
