Default Help on area of Pasadena...

Hey everyone.

So I go to Art Center in Pasadena (up by the rose bowl) and me and a few friends have been looking for a place and found a place that seems like a really fantastic nice house. I currently live in South Pasadena but am out of town for another week so i cant see the house or area in person and was wondering what you guys think. I can deal with a little bit of sketchiness, but i don't want to be in the middle of gang territory.

The house is between N Lake and Los Robles to the east and west, and between Mountain and Orange grove to the north and south (sorry dont want to give the exact address). That should give you some idea of the area though. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You'd be just to the west of Bungalow Heaven, which is a nice neighborhood. There seem to be three differerent interpretation of where the border between "bad" and "good" parts of Pasadena (in that part of Pasadena) begin; some put it at Lake, some at Los Robles, some at Fair Oaks.

You could try calling the police department to get more information on the specific block if youre worried. I don't know that particular stretch of city as well as I know some other areas, but it's my impression that that area's sort of the transition zone. I know people who live very close to that area and like it, though.

I would say if you are closer to Lake, then perhaps. Closer to El Molino, I would steer clear; however, I'm super anti-sketch.. so you might not get as creeped out there as I would.
