Hello everyone!

Its crunch time now and I'm trying to find a place. I've been looking at the West Hollywood area because I have job interviews in Santa Monica and in Glendale and am not sure which Job I will get/accept.

SO....

I was wondering if anyone has lived in any apartment complexes in the West Hollywood area, or even in an area that could get me to work if I got either job in a reasonable amount of time.

Here is what I'm looking for:
-no more than 950 per month rent, preferably a one bedroom, but not 100% necessary
-A pool (for rehabing my ankle )
-Reasonably safe
-action packed area (I'm 21 and want to have fun!)

Thanks in advance for your help

Phil

I would wait and get the job first then look for a place to live. Otherwise, look for temporary sublets on craigslist.

You should look on Craig's List anyway. I will be looking for an apartment in the same area with the same criteria that you listed and I've seen several on there already. Just keep in mind for $950 a studio will probably be the rule and a one bedroom the excpetion. Good luck!

I totally agree..don't come here broke and without a job. Unless you have some savings. LA is not a place for people without money. Not large amounts, but you pay for safety in this city.
