Hi, I'm thinking of taking a job at Loma Linda University Med Center. I'm a female, 30 years old, and want soemthing near the university, that is safe, somewhat near people, maybe a park, and a nice, smaller building. I'm looking for something charming, not so much a family type 'complex'. Does anyone have any input on buildings or how I can go about searching for something? Everything I seem to have found so far seems to be family style apt complexes. THANKS!

Hi Akina,

Maybe try the Inland Empire sub forum as that is where LL is located and you might get more responses. But honestly unless someone on the forum lives in LL and knows all the sub neighborhoods and various complexes it might be hard to answer. If you could ask someone form the LL Medical Center or the University you might get a better answer.

At the vary least you could move out there close to the the University and then if you don't like the place really check things out from a closer perspective. But most of LL is generally safe and walkable even at night especially closer to campus.

HI. I am a student at Loma Linda University. There aren't very many non-family complexes because the Inland Empire caters to families. It is a suburb after all If you want something modern and more culturally appealing...look into Claremont or Rancho Cucamonga. They are not too far from Loma Linda. My commute is about 25min each way and i live in Norco. Hope this helps a little!!!
