Twink Toes,

That's terrible news. I thought you just moved back here from Texas and things were going good.

No, I haven't moved back yet, but we are most likely going to file for divorce when we get back. Things haven't been okay for a long time. Now it's at the point where we almost can't stand to be around each other. BTW, I'll be home in 16 days - I can't wait!!!

Hi there, I'm an employer in Beverly Hills looking to reach out to the British community in Los Angeles with entry level sales opportunities. It sounds like you are well informed about your community here and I was hoping that you might be able to give me some ideas of where i might post some adds. So far I have not been able to find any publications that cater directly to Englishmen in the greater LA area. Any advise you could give me on this matter is greatly appreciated.

You'll get tons of attention. Americans love the British accent. I'm from England too. Guys love it when I 'turn' on the accent a tad stronger. Americans in general are friendly though they aren't as down to earth as Brits are.

If you ever get homesick, Santa Monica has a huge Brit population. Go to the King Head, I just love their sticky toffee puddings with custard!
