I believe there is also a helicopter which goes to Catalina Island.


The West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval will be on October 31st this year and it's definitely worth a gander--and it's free. The most horrifying part of the event is finding parking. Don't forget your camera.

You might want to sample L.A.'s taco culture by hitting one of the gazillion taco trucks. We even have a Korean BBQ taco truck (Kogi).

No sea planes flying anymore. Helicopter, as he said. Actually, the Catalina Express is not bad, but it will burn up a day. I've been to Catalina for the last time. I'd rather go to San Diego or some place else.
