Default Santa Monica Pier to Venice Beach

Isnt easy and near walk from Santa Monica Beach to Venice Beach?

easy walk down the boardwalk and bike path. maybe 1 mile from santa monica pier to venice beach.

It's a nice little stroll. I actually broke my fear of heights on the ferris wheel at SM pier...totally irrelevant I know.

Just be careful walking along the path! I can't tell you how many terrible bike, rollerblades, pedestrian, and babystroller collisions I've seen. Even if you're walking on the "WALK" part of the path, keep alert because this particular section of the Marvin Braude Bike Path is very busy.

Apolly is right about being careful. I used to ride my bike from Santa Monica to Redondo Beach on the path years ago. One day someone just pulled onto the path in front of a group of about 7 or 8 of us that were riding at a pretty good clip. The end result was a really bad pileup where there was a broken arm, sprained wrist, badly cut hand, and damaged bikes. Of course the guy that pulled out in front of us was barely scraped and threatened to sue(?!). So be careful out there.
