I didn't see the strip club, but did see the Carl Jr. I wonder if the strip club used to have breakfast??

Not sure if Nude Nude Nudes is still there. Nude club to be stripped from future parking lot - The Daily Breeze I guess that's progress.

yeah, it wasn't there when I went to LA a few weeks ago. I was like "Wha? Where's the nude nude nude sign?" It was there for years and years, now gone. Almost sad if you think about it. A lot of people considered it an LA landmark really. Although I have to admit, in the 25 years I've been going to LA, I've never been in there. Always meant to though. Closest I ever came was when we had breakfast at the Carl's jr. next door en route to LAX. Oh well, guess I missed my chance.

Anyone know why a bunch of residential lots near LAX are empty? If you look at the curved neighborhood northwest of Century and La Cieniga, there are a bunch of streets in there with empty lots and a couple of scattered homes? Look around west 99th street and Hindy Avenue.

If I'm not mistaken, LAX embarked on a purchase plan of all those properties a few years ago because they're in the flight path. I don't recall if anyone was forced to move, but most took a sales and relocation package. Haven't heard anything about it in a long time though. When I first moved back to LA in the early 80's, I lived in one of the apartments in that area.

It was, actually, a nice little area if you didn't mind the planes flying overhead. I had a comfortable 1BR place with full kitchen and garage there, off Aviation just south of Arbor Vitae, for around $400 in the early 80s.
