Restaurant recommendation around San Fernando
Can anyone suggest a mid-priced Italian/Mexican/Thai/Indian restaurant with good ambience near San Fernando area? I can't recall anything around that area and nothing comes up in Yelp.

there's a good place in burbank called porto's. it's more of a lunch spot, but they have great sandwiches and amazing pastries. as for italian, i've heard good things about miceli's near universal city.

If you can't find a Mexican Restaurant in San Fernando something is wrong. There is usually a Mexican Restaurant or Italian Restaurant on every corner. Great Thai restaurant in Reseda on Reseda Blvd. but can't remember the name. Great Cuban restaurant in Tarzana called Versailles on Ventura Blvd.

Believe it or not, the city of San Fernando some twenty five years had some very good restaurants. One great place was the Alpine Haus that had ass kicking German food. There's is a place called James coffee shop that's been there since 1953 that serves decent food. There's also Caruso's Italian restaurant on Foothill in Sylmar.
