Default I'm in need of some advice

First I'd like to say Hi to everyone! I am from Latvia, for those who don't know where it is, it's in the Baltic's just west of Russia. Ever since childhood I have had this dream of moving to the United States so finally i am about to get my bachelors degree in Public Relations and have chance of doing it.
So i have a couple of questions:
What are the chances of living in a safe neighborhood and renting a good one bedroom/bathroom apartment in LA?
Also how much would be my income in the Public Relations field considering i got my bachelors in Latvia and the chances of actually getting a job there?
Maybe there are some better Cities to move to in the US?
What should i worry about the most when moving to US?
All advices will be appreciated

Entry PR jobs pay horribly low. You'd have to get a roommate to live here. Also you need a work visa.

What type of PR job do imagine getting?
