There are goofballs everywhere. For every "Bro" in the IE/OC, there are normal people.

in LA area they are called 909'ers and they live mostly in IE cities. You will see their surf / skate variant in HB.

You hit the nail right on the head.

Bro's are everywhere EXCEPT the most densely populated areas of central Los Angeles, but a short drive into just about any other area, ( a few miles, really) and you can find them. We have EVERYTHING and every specimen of humanity here including trailer trash and fat Southerners, etc.

The thing about the Bro's is they usually have grown up in and still live in the suburbs where single family homes have much larger garages for their toys, boats, etc. while folks in the heart of the city tend to be more urbane or just too poor to afford the Bro's toys, but you will see them come frm their suburbs to drive around Hollywood or other hot-spots for young people. A lot of the suburban boys and girls stream into the Sunset Strip, etc. Oh yea, we have way too many Bro's.
