hi,

i'm relocating soon.

checking on some apartments that I may be looking at... can anyone comment on these locations/neighborhoods? thanks in advance.

- n. la brea + w. sunset - is this in hollywood or w. hollywood, and is it safe? i've heard that w/ hollywood is a pretty safe place but that hollywood can be a bit sketchy. are there 'boundaries' that i should look at in relation to w/hollywood and hollywood?

- near the LA cemetary near UCLA - off veteran blvd. i know this is westwood and figure it's pretty safe b/c of the school?

- also, la cienega and olympic.

thanks

This is Hollywood. Not great - busy traffic, dense retail, unattractive. Not that safe. I don't know the West Hollywood borders even though I used to live there. Here's the city web site: West Hollywood

Yes, this is better. Much further west than the other 2 locations. In general in Los Angeles, "west is best".

This is Los Angeles. It's safer than La Brea/Sunset. La Cienega and La Brea are heavily traveled streets.

In any of these busy locations, make sure you have a gated complex with garage parking.
