One loss is when Red's team lost out to the team from the Valley back in '03! This was the game that the lead players (Smith, Jones, et al) had the brink on to winning, but lost out nevertheless! I understand that the press coverage for this was just too much! Hopefully, there may not be too many events like that one left!

RIP Coach Wooden. You were so much more than a coach, but an example of a great man to us all. This isn't just UCLA or L.A. that has lost an icon, but our whole country. Thanks for your legacy coach, it will live on forever.

Umm! Charles, going back to your original post in this thread, the Bums deserved to lose, and still do, ever since they abandoned Brooklyn back in '58. That was the end of my interest in MLB. As Ebbets Field has gone, so should the Dodgers! By the same token, as the Polo Grounds, went, so should the Giants.
