That wasnt what I mean - read my 3-post explanation on page 6. There are non-skinhead non-biker non-mafia white street gangs - mainly in Chicago, which is the second biggest and most active gang city in USA, next to LA.

These street gangs do recruit some black and latino members, mainly latino/hispanics, but mainly consist of whites, and the gangs operate just like the bloods or crips would, that is they are in the hip hop crowd, maybe more chicago-style, but still as any latin or black street gang, they are NOT build on racism and they are not ***** or bikers. This has been ignored and suppressed in the media, and again, see the bottom of page 6, where I prove this with pics.


Majoun - indeed, and thats the kind of thing thats happening in the media and in the general population - this mainly-white gang activity in the streets is ignored and ridiculed. This country consists mainly of whites, therefore even non-LA bloods and crips recruit lots of whites in the country. In chicago-based gangs, whites are no minority. Theres lots of white people/folk gangs, and they are not based on racism/neo*****m, and are not bikergangs - just regular street gangs like the bloods and crips, just chicagostyle.

I know what you meant, Curtis, but I'm pointing out that all these gangs are gangs, period. I don't think chunks of white people can be removed from the "gang" equation based on specifics...that's silly...a gang is a gang is a gang.

Gangs are not just in LA and they are not just in Chicago...FWIW. LA gangs get a lot of press. LA crime as a whole, however, is not the highest in the country or even the top 10 (of cities over 200,000). Not saying it's safe...I'm just saying that when people here LA they scream "Gangs! Run away!"--meanwhile, it takes just one lone desperate person (and yes, believe it or not, he or she COULD be white) to pop a slug in a person and change his or her life forever, or end it.

I do realize the title of the thread refers to white gangs specifically but I thought I'd point that out.

I've looked at part of your evidence, and I've read these same sorts of boiler plate arguments before, ad infinitum. Have you ever heard the term 'anecdotal'? Simply posting photos of misguided kids attempting to emulate their favorite MTV hip-hop homeboy hardly qualifies as "proof" that Whites are just as prevalent to be gangsters per capita. In fact, I know they aren't as the topic was discussed a few months ago on Al Rantel's KABC show.

What is your problem with admitting that these white gangs exist? Theres a few blacks and hispanics in them too, but they ARE white.

Not in the same portion per capita. Show me some proof from the DOJ or some other reputable source.

Well, James, in the pics I showed you, there were black and hispanics too, with whites. So your argument is false. And what kind of racist are you? Saying that just because you are a white gangster, you are emulating your "favorite MTV hip-hop homeboy"? And you know white people arent gangsters, because it was discussed on some show - now thats hard evidence.

And the pics I showed you are of genuine gangs, such as the North and Southside Insane Popes, or the Almighty Popes. These gangs are involved in drug selling, weapon selling, prostitution, extortion, gang wars, and so on - so no, its not "misguided white kids trying to emulate their favorite hiphop homeboy", its real gangsters, and theres lots of them. The gangs I mentioned consist mainly of whites, but with a good proportion of hispanics and few black members too, which are races that arent involved in your racist generalization.

Also, I dont claim that theres more white gangsters than hispanics or blacks. In fact, theres more hispanic gangsters than any other race, and since there only are around 40 million black people, white comes next when you count the mafia, the biker gangs, the racists, the skinheads and all the white street gangs and simply all the white street gangmembers.
