Check out the Phillips Ranch area in Pomona. It is a nice area that have excellent schools shared with North Diamond Bar. Phillips Ranch is very conveniently located to 57, 60, 71, and 10 freeway. Also, Chino Hills is a great area which has excellent schools, shopping, parks, and clean environment.

Thanks for all the advice. We have landed in a small, kind of crappy, 2 bedroom apartment in Covina. It's weird because it's kind of dumpy but in a very nice neighborhood. It's a temporary solution as we save for a down payment. Rent: $1075 We almost moved into a small house in Glendora on a double lot for $1500 (probably about $1700 with utilities) but decided to suck it up and get $6,000 closer to a down payment in 12 months.

Now to get my beach condo short sold!
