im from CPT(compton) and i still live there and it is not the worst ghetto in the US

i have lived in africa,asia,caribbean,and several US states....and in all my travels,somehow missed that sweden has ghettos!!!!
sweden-the country the US is constanly compared or contrasted with in terms of quality of life?

wow... you drove through compton... if you base a "ghetto" on how it looks then your ignorant... any ghetto in america will look better than poorer countries... thats common sense. its the culture & activities that have been taking place in these areas that make them notorious. compton is the city that every "ghetto" wants to be compared to so obviously its not hype. try living there for a while then make an opinion

I wouldn't want to go there during the day and you couldn't pay me to go there at night. It has nothing to do with what it looks like. The gang activity is awful.

The demos have changed in Compton from heavily Black to mostly Black with more Hispanics coming in. However, its still an extremely dangerous city.
