Pay your fines before the due date. You think the court's just going to forget about it?

Well, by ignoring the problem, it only got bigger. Between credit cards, pawn shops, loan sharks, selling various bodily fluids, family, friends, etc, I'm sure you could have come up with the $30 it would have taken to fix this before it became an $800 problem.

If you can't afford to pay the ticket, it sounds like you're going to lose your license - and the only way to get it back will be to pay that $800 fine.

Depending on what your car is worth, it might be easiest to just sell it, and use the proceeds to pay the fine and get your license back - that way you can at least drive other cars - as in rental cars, or relative's and friend's cars.

I know it seems crazy that the fine is $800 when you don't pay a $30 ticket - and now you're in danger of losing your license - but unfortunately it is the reality.

Good luck!

I don't know if it will help, but it certainly wouldn't hurt, and if I was in your position I think it sounds like a smart thing to try!
