Default Travel from santa monica to sfv

I'm going to be travelling from santa monica to san fernando valley, could anyone advise the best way to get there by public transport. Thanks

ok, thanks. can you tell me roughly how long it would take to travel by car. im from scotland and going to LA in the summer, im staying in santa monica but im going to book a tattoo in sfv, just wanting to know what the travel would be like. thanks a lot for any info!!

Where in the San Fernando Valley? If the west valley, PCH north to Topanga north to Woodland Hills may be best,. If the east valley, I-10 to I-405 may be best.
