Default Which LA neighborhood is safe in 2010?

So it seems like the City Council is cutting budget cuts and numbers of the LAPD and LAFD.

I'm wondering which LA neighborhood is safe at the moment with no crime or at least zero burglaries (my home was hit once and I lost everything). Anybody know?

There probably is no place with no crime.

Everywhere probably has at least (that is, not less than) zero burglaries, especially since negative burglaries is impossible.

Zero burglaries?

I remember a case were the exclusive, walled, guarded Orange County neighborhood of Coto de Caza had a spree of vandalism and burglary. Rich women appear in news soundbytes saying "if this isn't safe, where can we move to get away from crime?".

Predictably, the burglars and vandals were the bored rich teenager children of the Coto de Caza residents.

People = crime
No people = no crime

So I think the safest neighborhoods are probably your hilltop neighborhoods were the population density is as low as it can get.

My house has been robbed in a decent neighborhood too, but that's what homeowners insurance is for.

It's illegal for Southern Californians to have firearms now.

West of Encino, was your burglary recent?

Also, are you talking about a neighborhood in LA measured for this year alone?

It was back in 2007. I still have nightmares about this.

Yes, I'm specifically asking which LA area is safe this year.

You'll find nowhere in LA that has zero burglaries. You'd be better off spending cash on a guard dog, a few beware of dog signs, a shotgun, and some therapy for the nightmares.
