Default Long beach (bixby/wrigly area) resource assistance...

Hello everyone.
I recently purchased a house in the Bixby/Wrigley area and was wondering if there are any fast resource to talk to about repair/maintenance of certain residential roads surrounding my neighborhood. It's a quiet area, but the roads needs to be upkept. A couple stop signs needs to be placed and dividers on wide residential streets (for safety of children and residents). Is there a certain city area meeting that occur so I can address this issue?
Thanks in advance.

I would pick up the Press Telegram and Grunion Gazette and look for notices for meetings regarding those issues in the local news sections. Long Beach is a huge city and budgets are tight right now, so it's probably something that will come in time rather than immediately. Neighboring Lakewood is almost done with a project of repaving every street in the city. It's been 11 years and they're 92% done according to the latest flier from the city. So that can give you an idea of how long it can take to get road like that done

...seems the city is finally doing road construction to repair the road on Wardlow towards Cherry, but how about Long Beach Blvd. (towards Spring/Willow area)???? I will wait a bit and see if that road will be next since I am in Wrigley Heights area. The hidden area that no one knows about. LOL!
