Default Good streaming stations?

What's a good LA radio station I could listen that broadcasts over the internet? It's not about the music so much, I just want to hear something that is so LA. Maybe a station that has a well known radio show host that interviews local musicians, discusses city politics or whatever. It would also be cool if there were advertisements for local businesses. Something laid back too. Maybe one of those indie stations you think?

Couldn't you just find a list of AM and FM radio stations and check their websites for streaming content?

Here are stations and their websites.

KIIS is good for streaming, I listen to it on my computer at work rather than have a radio at my desk.

And kind of on topic, I have one of those monster iPod adapters so you can listen to your iPod through a radio station, but I can't find a clear free station that it will play through. Anyone have any suggestions.

I listen to KNX 1070 which is an "all news" station. But they also cover the industry (film and TV), music, business. It's a station a lot of movers and shakers (for want of a better term) listen to. They do movie reviews. A good variety of things. Lot's of live coverage of everyting from mud slides to Oscar nominees.

Even living out of the area now, I'll listen to it when something is happening in L.A.

I like listening to KPCC, especially AirTalk (Larry Mantle). I still listen fairly regularly even though I no longer live in LA.

I like KFI. Listen to Bill Handel all the time. (I think I spelled his name right.) 640 AM KFI
