I know the poppies are coming soon. Any other beautiful nature to look at now due to the rains? And if so, where?

How about the hillsides carpeted in green? I know, by August it'll be back to the drab, boring brown - but this spring is going to be beautiful!

Sometimes I just look at the sky- and take it all in before the haze sets in again.

I like to look at the islands in the morning when the sun is not too high. They are carpeted in green and it looks cool, with the ocean and blue skies. Usually by noon the sun is too high in the sky to get that effect. Also not sure if you would have the same view if you are in Malibu and looking to the south. I like how it looks in the Oxnard and Ventura area in the morning. The islands are west of us and the view is very nice. Has to be a clear day though.

i enjoy driving the 101 between calabasas and agoura after heavy rains. the hillsides turn green almost immediately and after a while the mustard plant begins to grow, adding in some vibrant yellows. than canyon roads between PCH and the 101 are also very pretty after the rain.
